This week: Lesson 4 of 4 : Paul and Silas keep telling others about Jesus in jail.
(motions are in the curriculum under make it true section.)
"Go and tell everyone, everywhere about Jesus." Matthew 28:19.
Bible Story: (found under Make it True) Begin by making the connection that last week we talked about Saul turning to Paul and how Paul wanted to tell everyone about Jesus. Now Paul and his friend Silas are going around telling others about Jesus. We have another jail story...this week.. it is Paul and Silas in jail. After looking through the curriculum it looks like the story should be easy to tell. Since this is the 2nd jail story this month focus on how Paul and Silas continued to tell others even when it was hard...

Activities (Make it fun, Make it stick): thoughts on this weeks' activities:
- A few earthquake activities (shaking buildings, earthquakes) These are fun games to play the explain the "earthquake" that happened in the story.
- Use the "music time" with Ms. Judy to talk about how Paul and Silas sang in jail.
- Paper chains are always fun. Some of you may have done paper chains before, but this is a great idea. I would love to send home a bag of chains with the letter for children to do at home. I will get letters copied and bags ready.
- Paul and Silas craft. This is a very cute craft. We have alcohol paints that are not messy at all and dry very quickly! Instead of using craft sticks I would cut black paper strips and glue them down with glue sticks.
