Birth-2yrs

- Understand the ways God shows his love to them & enjoy worshiping him
- Learn the Golden Rule & Ecclesiastes 3
- Begin Large Group Worship & PSALM Kids
Kindergarten
– Worship as a family
- Memorize the Lord’s Prayer (first semester) & the Doxology (second semester)
- Participate in Blessing of the Kindergarteners
- Begin 1st Quarter, Large/Small Groups & Communion
First
grade – Show God’s love at home as well
as church
- Memorize the Shema & the Fruit of the Spirit
- Learn how to show God’s love at home, school, church, friends’ homes.
Second
grade – Develop a love for God’s Word
- Receive personal Bible
- Choose a favorite Bible story
- Complete a Discovering My Bible curriculum (8 weeks)
Third
grade – Participate fully in worship
- Be able to describe/explain all parts of the order of worship
- Memorize 1 Corinthians 13 – the Love Chapter
- Choose a favorite hymn
Fourth
grade – Develop a Good Samaritan
attitude
- Participate in Alive! and Sanctuary worship
- Memorize and share a basic Bible story (Good Samaritan, Noah’s Ark, Prodigal Son, Birth of Jesus, etc.) and demonstrate ability to apply that story to own life.
- Memorize the Great Commandment and the Great Commission
Fifth
grade – Own their faith
- Participate in Alive! and Sanctuary worship
- Apply faith and understanding of God’s Word to a real life situation
- Bring a friend to church
- Defend faith in dialogue
- Memorize Psalm 23
