Announcements:  

• Continuing our January theme:  HIS story:  Jesus came to do amazing things. This theme will focus on things Jesus did as he grew up.
• NO Music this week, since Judy was here last week.

Prayer Time: #1 in our top 10:   Ask the kids what you can pray about and lead them in prayer about their personal requests.

Bible Story: (found under Make it True )The story is easy to tell this week and I will have blue paper for you to use in telling it.  If you want to bring a flashlight from home (or even use your cell phone flashlight) that would be good.  Easy story this week!

Activities:  (Make it Stick and Make it Fun)

Thoughts on a few of the activities for this week: Lots of good activities to choose from this week.

• Ball of Love-easy game...I have soft balls you can use.
• He is my Son- a hiding game.  These are always my favorite and this one uses pictures from the activity pages. 
• Up and Down-no props.  Maybe good to do after the story.
• Jesus' Baptism- uses paper plates and brads, which we have. 
• Tracing Jesus' Baptism-this is a fun group activity you can do that won't take long and those who like to color can finish coloring the picture.

• I will be handling the story part of the lesson on Dec. 28th,  There will be crafts and/or an activities in the room each week for you.  You will not need to prepare except to be familiar with the story, be present, and lead the activities or craft. 

Curriculum:  Week 4 of 4:  The Wise Men learn of Jesus' birth and they travel to see him bearing gifts.

Dec. 7th	Music and short class time.	The Angel talks to Mary
Dec. 14th	Toy Sunday-no lesson planned.	Mary and Joseph travel to Bethlehem-Jesus is Born in a stable
Dec. 21st	Regular Class	The Angels tell the shepherds the Good news
Dec. 28th	Regular Class	The Wise Men follow the star to Jesus and give Him three special gifts.
