Announcements:  

•  This Sunday is Toy Sunday and leaders do not need to be present in the room.  Please participate in Toy Sunday with your family. 

• We are kicking off the Christmas series.  See the chart below for the overview of the stories for the month.

• I will be handling the story part of the lesson on Dec. 21st, Dec. 28th, and Jan. 4th.  There will be crafts and/or an activity in the room each week for you.  You will not need to prepare except to be familiar with the story and be present. 

Curriculum:  Week 1 of 5:  Jesus is God's Son.  The Angle talks to Mary.

Dec. 7th	Music and short class time.	The Angel talks to Mary
Dec. 14th	Toy Sunday-no lesson planned.	Mary and Joseph travel to Bethlehem-Jesus is Born in a stable
Dec. 21st	Regular Class	The Angels tell the shepherds the Good news
Dec. 28th	Regular Class	Its’ time to celebrate that Jesus was born.
Jan. 4th	Regular Class	The Wise Men follow the star to Jesus and give Him three special gifts.
