November Scripture:  Please go over scripture each week with the motions

Click here for hand motions  to memory verse.
"With God all things are possible." Matthew 19:26.

Prayer Time: #1 in our top 10:   Ask the kids what you can pray about and lead them in prayer about their personal requests.

Bible Story: (found under Make it True ) Jesus calms the storm when his friends- the disciples- got very scared on the boat.  The Bible story has you assigning different parts for the kids to act out.  You might need a sheet for a prop.  Fun story to tell-It's been a month of water stories!

Activities:  (Make it Stick and Make it Fun)

Thoughts on a few of the activities for this week:
  • Streamer Storm- Can use craft sticks for this.  We have crepe paper streamers.
  • On the Lake- We have some fuzzy balls you can use if you bring a sheet.
  • Chalk pictures- This is easy and cute.  We have chalk as well as black construction paper and can make copies on Sunday morning for you.
Activites that need just a bit of preparation but are fun:
  •  Storm Bottles- If you purchase some kroger water bottles and vegetable oil we can reimburse you.  We have blue food coloring here.  Janet and I have cut out foam boats and put them in these bottles.  We could cut the foam on Sunday morning. Kids love this.
  •  Storm Cookies-Purchase some cookies and icing and swedish fish and you have a fun storm cookie.  PLEASE POST A NOTE ABOUT SERVING A SPECIAL SNACK if you plan to do this.
