Scripture Motions for May
Prayer Time: #1 in our top 10: Ask the kids what you can pray about and lead them in prayer about their personal requests.
Bible Story: (found
under Make it True ) Not a common story but a good one. The curriculum leads you well. You could print out some pictures if you think you need. (Maybe a centurion, maybe a house to show the man was back at the house, etc.) The theme is: The centurion talked to Jesus in person and we can still talk to him through prayer.
Activities: (Make it Stick and Make it Fun)-
- Soldier buddies-Easy table activity
- Shields and Let's Talk- craft activities.
- Follow the leader or Simon says-These two games aren't in the curriculum but they would be fun to play and would highlight the theme of listening/leading, etc.

- Games to play:
- Grab a friend, Whisper Game, Tell me about it-All three of these are easy games to play and require no props! Good ways to reinforce the story idea.
