March Scripture: Please go over scripture each week with the motions
Click here for hand motions to memory verse.
"Be kind and loving to each other." Ephesians 4:32.
Prayer Time: #1 in our top 10: Ask the kids what you can pray about and lead them in prayer about their personal requests.
Bible Story: (found
under Make it True ) The Bible story is very simple this week. It will be easy to tell and uses thumbs up, thumbs down motions. This month is about how "I can help others." If you happen to have a good story book at home about helping others, or professions where people help others you could bring that along to read as well.
Activities: (Make it Stick and Make it Fun)A few thoughts on the activities for this week.
- Here to there- You can use things in the room and play this game. We have baskets here you can use.
- We can build- This is a working together game. We have blocks that we can bring in to your room to use.
- I can help- This is a very good table activity where the kids can CUT and COLOR themselves. They color the pictures of helpers then cut them out and glue to another sheet.

February Scripture: Please go over scripture each week with the motions
Click here for hand motions to memory verse.
"How wide and high and long and deep is the love of Christ." Ephesians 3:18.
Prayer Time: #1 in our top 10: Ask the kids what you can pray about and lead them in prayer about their personal requests.
Bible Story: (found
under Make it True ) I found a supplement again this week to use with the story that adds another dimension to sharing this great story. You can probably combine features from both stories as you tell it. I love the idea that "Jesus know my name. He loves me and He knows me." See the link above to the supplemental Bible
Story.
Activities: (Make it Stick and Make it Fun)A few thoughts on the activities for this week. **Also...See the link to the additional activity not in our curriculum.
- **Jesus knows my name craft. Click Here. I thought this was a great craft to suppport the message behind the Zacchaeus story. (I will have the sign and the letters to do this.)
- Zacchaeus coloring sheets-I will have these in the room.
- Thumbs up-Easy game...no props.
- Knee Races-This is kind of cute for them to think about what it is like to be short. I don't know if I would race (we might get red knees and torn tights), but you could take a short journey around the room on your knees.
- Jesus and Zacchaeus-This is a traditional craft with Jesus and Zacchaeus being glued to popsicle sticks. You could also cut a slit in the tree if you would like. We have lots of popsicle sticks.

Bible Story: (found

Activities: (Make it Stick and Make it Fun)A few thoughts on the activities for this week. **Also...See the link to the additional activity not in our curriculum.

- Good Friend-This is one of my favorite games. Minimal props...I can get you tissues.
- How Can I love others? -I love the idea behind this game. I can bring you a piece of butcher block paper on Sunday morning. Let me know if you need band-aids.

February Scripture: Please go over scripture each week with the motions

"How wide and high and long and deep is the love of Christ." Ephesians 3:18.
Prayer Time: #1 in our top 10: Ask the kids what you can pray about and lead them in prayer about their personal requests.
Bible Story: (found
under Make it True ) . The story in the curriculum is good. Maybe use some props and possibly have someone play the part of the prodigal son. I have some gold coins you could also use to demonstrate losing all the money.
Activities: (Make it Stick and Make it Fun)
Some of the activities for this story will be better suited before you tell the story. Remember there is music this week, so you will have a bit less time.
- Fancy Things-Easy activity that you can do with the activity pages attached. Probably best before the story.
- Funny Farm-This is also a cute game. Pictures provided in the curriculum activity pages.
- Maze-This activity sheet is a great story review. YOu could do as a group. Maybe have snack and then do it?
- Feed the pigs-Funny game. I have baskets/buckets and bean bags you could use.
