February Scripture:  Please go over scripture each week with the motions

Click here for hand motions  to memory verse.
"How wide and high and long and deep is the love of Christ."  Ephesians 3:18.

Prayer Time: #1 in our top 10:   Ask the kids what you can pray about and lead them in prayer about their personal requests.

Bible Story: (found under Make it True ) I found a supplement again this week to use with the story that adds another dimension to sharing this great story.  You can probably combine features from both stories as you tell it.  I love the idea that "Jesus know my name.  He loves me and He knows me."  See the link above to the supplemental Bible Story.

Activities:  (Make it Stick and Make it Fun)A few thoughts on the activities for this week.  **Also...See the link to the additional activity not in our curriculum.
  • **Jesus knows my name craft.  Click Here. I thought this was a great craft to suppport the message behind the Zacchaeus story.  (I will have the sign and the letters to do this.)
  • Zacchaeus coloring sheets-I will have these in the room.
  • Thumbs up-Easy game...no props.
  • Knee Races-This is kind of cute for them to think about what it is like to be short.  I don't know if I would race (we might get red knees and torn tights), but you could take a short journey around the room on your knees.
  • Jesus and Zacchaeus-This is a traditional craft with Jesus and Zacchaeus being glued to popsicle sticks.  You could also cut a slit in the tree if you would like.  We have lots of popsicle sticks.
