Announcements:
- There WILL be music this Sunday
- We are using our new format, Sacred Circle, each Sunday in December. See details below.
- We will not be having 10am small group on Dec. 25th. There will be one church service at 10am and childcare will be provided.

Details for you to know.
- Bring your adult Bible to have open when telling the story of the wonder beads.
- Going through the wonder beads will be the sacred circle story for the month.
- I will have a Christmas story book available to read during snack time if you like.
- No extra activities since there is music.
Sunday Nov. 20th
Theme: God helps me do big things.

- This will be our last week under the old curriculum format. We will move to the new Sacred Circle format on Sunday Nov. 27th.
Curriculum: Week 3 of 3 : David is chosen king. God is always ready to help me.
Theme for the month: God helps me do big things.
Stories this month: God helps David as a shepherd, David and Goliath, David is anointed King.

Prayer Time:
Bible Story: (found
under Make it True ) Make sure to review the prior lessons about David as a shepherd and David fighting Goliath. David knew God and counted on God for help. In the story today David is chosen as king. You could tell the story using 7 craft sticks for the 7 sons and a crown (we have one.) One of the children could be David. The focus of the story is on David's heart for God. Just some ideas to get your wheels turning.
Activities: (Make it Stick and Make it Fun) Since there is music this week there won't be as much time for activities. A few fun, easy games.....
- Seven Times: fun, easy games.....Doing activities 7 times over.
- Guess Who: also a fun, easy game....focusing on selection like God is selecting the king.
- God helps me: Could do this activity as a group instead of individually.
Sunday November 13th
Theme: God helps me do big things.

- We will be doing small group leader training this Sunday (11/13) during the 10am hour. No prep needed by any leaders.
Curriculum: Week 2 of 4 : David and Goliath.
