Please note: The 5th week of November we will begin the Christmas curriculum, so that we can get all the stories completed in December.

"We have the Lord our God to fight our battles for us."   2 Chronicles 32:8.  click here for scripture motions.

Prayer Time: #1 in our top 10:   Ask the kids what you can pray about and lead them in prayer about their personal requests.

Bible Story: (found under Make it True ) I love this lesson-even though it might seem to be scary.  I have stuffed animal sheep that I will have with me on Sunday morning.  You also could print off pictures of different sheep, have the kids decorate 3 sheep when they arrive, etc.  You could be creative on the sheep.

Activities:  (Make it Stick and Make it Fun)This week is GAME week.  Lots of fun games.  You can do a craft if you want, but this might be a fun change up.  You can always print a coloring sheet if you want to have a table activity.
    • Help please- This is a tissue game, where kids walk around with Kleenex on their head and then help each other when it drops.
    • Obstacle course game- Kids love to do "ostacle courses."  You can make a simple one in your room or go to the gym.  We have hula hoops, etc.  You could go under the table, around chairs, through a hoop that someone holds, etc.
    • Save the sheep- What kid wouldn't love to see cotton balls all over the room.  This collect the sheep game will have the kids excited.

Prayer Time: #1 in our top 10:   Ask the kids what you can pray about and lead them in prayer about their personal requests.

Bible Story: (found under Make it True ) The Bible story for this week is very interactive.  You can substitute a blow up boat with a boat cut from a piece of butcher block or you could turn chairs upside down and make a boat-be creative.  The kids will enjoy the sounds, etc.

Activities:  (Make it Stick and Make it Fun)
    • Making waves and ride the waves- Both of these games use a sheet and a ball.  Don't worry if you don't have a blue sheet.  Shaking the sheet looks like waves and the kids will get the idea.
    • Sounds like rain- No props needed and I think they will like this game.  Its always fun to make rain sounds.
    • Red + Yellow-  I love this activity as it visually shows the kids how God's love will never be separated from us.  You could do this on small plates and they could paint a heart maybe-representing love.  Just an idea.
    • Stormy waters-this is an easy fun craft.  WE have blue crepe paper for streamers.
    •  Tube boats would also be an easy craft. We have plenty of toilet paper rolls and craft sticks.
