Curriculum:  Week 4 of 4:  Everyone needs Jesus.  Disciples tell others

February Scripture:  Please go over scripture each week with the motions
"Love each other as I have loved you"  John 15:12.

Prayer Time: #1 in our top 10:   Ask the kids what you can pray about and lead them in prayer.

Bible Story: (found under Make it True) This week the story is also easy to tell if you follow the Bible story in the curriculum.  There are a few props to use which will make it fun.

Activities: (Make it Stick and Make it Fun) comments about some of the activities:

Let me know what supplies you will need if you need help from me!

 Games:

  • We need it: Kids love pulling things out of a bag. Another easy game.

Crafts:
  • Postcards:  Probably just need card stock to copy onto and I have that.  You can find  decorating items in the supply room. (glitter, stickers, etc.)

February Scripture:  Please go over scripture each week with the motions
"Love each other as I have loved you"  John 15:12.

Prayer Time: #1 in our top 10:   Ask the kids what you can pray about and lead them in prayer.

Bible Story: (found under Make it True) Easy story to tell.  Might want to use the "I can see the Story" activity to actually tell the story.  (There are pictures in the activity pages.)

Activities: (Make it Stick and Make it Fun) comments about some of the activities:

Let me know what supplies you will need if you need help from me!

  • Musical Hearts: Fun, easy, game to do with some music playing.
  • Popsicle puzzles and Where is my other half:  Both fun games, where kids have to find a match with someone in the room.  We have string and can copy hearts on red paper, and we have popsicle sticks.
  • Message from the heart: One of my favorites this week.  I am going to make copies of this to have for all rooms and you don't have to use if you don't want, because we can use other places.  Hearts need to be cut out, etc. So I am going to go ahead and prepare this.
  • Faces of love:   I love games where the kids can listen to scenarios and decide how they would act/react.  I don't have happy/sad face stickers here, but they can draw their own happy or sad face.

Curriculum:  Week 2 of 4:  Zacchaeus

February Scripture:  Please go over scripture each week with the motions
"Love each other as I have loved you"  John 15:12. (motions are in activity pages this week.)

Prayer Time: #1 in our top 10:   Ask the kids what you can pray about and lead them in prayer.

Bible Story: (found under Make it True) Fun way they are telling the story this week.  If you have a dry erase board at home you can use it.  Otherwise, I think a stack of paper would work just fine.  Draw something and then get a fresh new piece for the next picture.  This is a fun story!  The reason Jesus wants us to know this story is that he does love us even when we make wrong choices.

Activities: (Make it Stick and Make it Fun) comments about some of the activities:

Let me know what supplies you will need if you need help from me!
