Monthly theme: Jesus is a good friend.
Announcements:
- This week is a "serve sunday" week, where all children at CCUM will participate in service projects. What does this mean for you?:
- Please take the children to the fellowship hall and be seated by 10:15. Tammy and I will stay around and bring stragglers. Probably need to leave the room at 10:12 or so. They will watch a video. You will stay with them.
- Return to the room and do craft provided by and led by "Serve Sunday leaders." This will take 10-15 minutes.
- Plan to present the Bible story (maybe while you have snack?) and prepare only (1) activity in case you have time. I would suggest not a craft, since they will already be doing that. See my comments below.
- We are in the second week of new unit this month and the theme is " God will take care of me."

"My God will meet all your needs" Phillipians 4:19
Prayer Time: #1 in our top 10: Ask the kids what you can pray about and lead them in prayer.
Bible Story: (found under Make it True) The story this is week is simple. I have a bird puppet you can use and you could bring in some bread or something as a prop. Great message to share with the kids, and simple.
Activities: (Make it Stick and Make it Fun) comments about some of the activities:
Think about doing some of the activities as a group.
- Yummy in my tummy -Matching games. Just need to make some copies.
- Clothespins and Pom Pom balls-Really cute game. (We have clothes pins and pom pom balls.)
- Things we need-This is presented as an individual activity but you could do it as a group. Can mount on poster board and talk about it together.
- Bowling game- This is also really cute if you would have some 2 liter bottles to spare. We don't have excess of these at church. Maybe you have kids bowling pins at home you could use instead.
