September Scripture:  Please go over scripture each week with the motions
"Nothing can separate us from God's love." Romans 8:39
Click here for hand motions to memory verse.

Prayer Time: #1 in our top 10:   Ask the kids what you can pray about and lead them in prayer about their personal requests.

Bible Story: (found under Make it True )Jesus calms the storm. The story is interactive and asks you to bring in a float.  (haha).  I think a sheet would work well to signify a boat and the kids can all sit on it.  Also calls for a rain coat or rain gear-anything on those lines would be fun.

Activities: (Make it Stick and Make it Fun)

Games/Activities: (fun games this week!)
  • Making Waves or Ride the wave-I have one blue sheet and 4 puff balls available.  Tammy or Janet can get them for you.  Could bring in your own sheet and/or balls if you want as well.  This is an easy/fun game.
  • Sounds like Rain-definitely and interactive, "no prop" game that all kids have fun with.
  • Tube boats-I will have toilet paper rolls cut in half and craft sticks available, along with card stock.  You would need to cut the sails but all the rest of the stuff will be ready for you.
  • I have dark and light blue streamers available as well along with craft sticks if you want to make some waves to "wave"--just like the fire this past week!
