Announcements:
- I am NOT HERE this Sunday. The party supplies mentioned below will be in the resource/copy room labeled "Sunday morning Fish supplies." If you do anything else you will need to provide the supplies. Tammy and Janet will be here.
- There will be music this week! Let's leave at 10:10ish and try to start by 10:15.....then you will have time to get back to the room for story/activity.
- Because we have done this story before I am suggesting that you focus on the activities I mention below. You could do one or both of them. I will provide party hats and some party prizes that you could hide around the room. There will be enough for each person to get one. I'm not as thrilled with the other activities listed and we already did the water to wine craft. As always you can do anything you want.
Curriculum: Week 3 of 4 : Jesus came to do amazing things. Jesus changed water into a super fancy drink.

"The crowds were amazed at His teaching." Matthew 7:28.
Prayer Time: #1 in our top 10: Ask the kids what you can pray about and lead them in prayer about their personal requests.
Bible Story: (found under Make it True ) Jesus changes water into "super fancy drink" Ahhh, we just had this story in the fall, but repetition is a good thing at this age..Right? Should be easy to tell. We always have water in the room for snack that you could use if you bring a pitcher from home. (Sneak in some kool-aid/crystal light mix on the bottom). You can use some of the party supplies I will provdide to have the kids pretend they are at a party.
Activities: (Make it Stick and Make it Fun)
Since we did this in the fall many of the kids have already done the craft my suggestion is to follow the party/game idea and maybe do a science experiment. With music you may not even have time to do both.
- Party time-Give the kids party hats and then hide the party prizes I provide. Everyone can find one. This goes along with the idea that all the people were at a party when they ran out of their drink. Ask the kids "How would you feel if you were at a party and all of a suddent there was nothing more to drink?"
- Science Experiment-They list a science experiment in the curriculum, so you could follow that; Or, click this link to see another easy one or two experiments you could do as a group. This will show the kids that Jesus did something amazing just like this.
