Announcements:
- NO Music this Sunday!
- We are on our second week of our new theme: God helps me do big things. Our stories will be centered around David and how God helped David do big things. Just because we are little we can still do big things with God's help.
- Our team leader in the blue fish room, Karen Morgan, had her baby last Wednesday. Details: Philip Henry, 8lbs. 4oz., and both mom and Philip are doing well! Congratulations!
Theme: God helps me do BIG things.
Please note: The 5th week of November we will begin the Christmas curriculum, so that we can get all the stories completed in December.

Prayer Time: #1 in our top 10: Ask the kids what you can pray about and lead them in prayer about their personal requests.
Bible Story: (found under Make it True ) Story: David is anointed King as a young child. You might have one of the kids be David as you tell the story. We have crowns you can use also. Also, you could have 7 children stand up and then sit down. You could cut out a small red heart to tape onto someone to show God looks at our heart.
Activities: (Make it Stick and Make it Fun)Many activities to choose from. I can hardly touch on them all. I will highlight a few:
- 7 X's-no props, easy to do and prepares the kids for the #7 in the story.
- Guess who- a "selection" game that would show kids how Samuel had to keep eliminating and looking for the king.
- Find it-could modify and do your own seek and find game. We have crowns.
- God helps me-I love this table activity as it shows kids exactly how God can help them. We have cardstock to make copies.
