January scripture:  Please go over scripture each week with the motions

Prayer Time: #1 in our top 10:   Ask the kids what you can pray about and lead them in prayer about their personal requests.

Bible Story: (found under Make it True )  I have a Big Book story called "Come Follow Me" that you can read to the children.  It's a great story that parallels our truth for the week. I will put one in each room. 
 
  Activities:  (Make it Stick and Make it Fun) It will be a lighter week for activities since you have music.  

• Follow me- this game is on the lines of simon says:  no props needed.  It emphasizes following someone. 
• Verse with friends-a fun easy way to work on the memory verse for the month.
• Jesus' friends-this is an easy group activity the children can do and each participate.  (You could cut out Jesus' friends on Sunday morning even.) We have butcher block paper to use and make this a good group activity.
