Sunday May 15th
May Theme: I can talk to Jesus.
Announcements:
- No music Sunday.
- Remember to focus on a quiet time with the kids sometime during the hour where prayer is the focus. Let them have some quiet time of prayer with you! This is going to be a big focus for next year as we try and let kids practice spending time with God in prayer. Even our little ones can do this for a few minutes!
- We are in the home stretch of small groups. May will be your last commitment for the school year. In the summer I will be seeking a rotating group of leaders to lead one class during the 10am hour.
- We are beginning to recurit for next fall. If you know anyone who would like to lead please let me know. I will be talking with each of you to see if you are feeling called to continue leading this age group.
- Stories this Month: Centurion talks to Jesus, Healing Lepers, Jesus Forgives (the woman and the perfume), Jesus talks to God.

"Continue praying, keeping alert, and always thanking God." Col. 4:22
Scripture Motions for May
Prayer Time: #1 in our top 10: Ask the kids what you can pray about and lead them in prayer about their personal requests.
Bible Story: (found under Make it True ) An easy story to tell. Bringing some props or a perfume bottle will make it more interactive in telling the story.
Activities: (Make it Stick and Make it Fun)- honestly, this week there are LOTS of great/easy choices to pick from. Most of them involve a bottle of perfume or a bottle that could represent perfume/oil. Good smelling spray or lotion from bath and body works would work as well.....
- Who has it? (a hide and seek game)
- Dinner party? -this might be fun for the kids to set up a table with the kitchen stuff in the room.
- Pass the perfume-works on the memory verse for the month.
- Beautiful bottle-a craft project with kool-aid for color. I also have rubbing alcohol paints that are easy to use.
- Feet wash relay or Sweet Feet-kids would probably love this.
