Prayer Time: don't forget this.

Bible Story: (found under Make it True )the Naaman story is not as well known, but a good one.  This month we are talking about following what God says.  I think this story would be easy to tell using some figurines.  You could make the Naaman character puppet as told in the lesson.  The servant girl could be a doll or doll figure from the room.  Ask me or Tammy and we can gather up some people for you to use. You could even bring something to represent the river.

Activities:  (Make it Stick and Make it Fun)
  • Seven times- a fun get started game that uses no props and the children do things 7 times.  Sets you up for the story.
  • Right or wrong-picture card activity that you could do as a group.  Print out the pictures from the activity pages.
  • ***Naaman Craft-please note.  The Naaman craft in the lesson is not easy to do and paint can be messy.  We have modified this craft by having children make the naaman puppet (as attached in the activity pages) and then a strip of blue paper cut out like water on a piece of 8 1/2 X 11 paper.  Naaman can dip up and down in the water. I will leave a sample in class to show you.  Its very easy and the kids like it if you are interested in doing a craft. I will have all the supplies already prepped for both rooms and if you don't use it no problem.  It stays in a Naaman Bible story file we keep.
