Bible Story: (found under Make it True )The story is simple this week-God made me, because God loves me.  I will have the body puzzle in a bag for you to use in telling the story. You could also read the creation story out of the Children's Bible.  (There should be some in your closet or Tammy can give you the one out of my bucket. )  I have put some additional story books in my bucket that would be fun to read with the children.

Activities:  (Make it Stick and Make it Fun)
  • Let's smell This is just a fun game kids would love if you could bring anything from home. Can discuss "who gave us the sense of smell"  Talk about how good certain things smell.  i.e.  popcorn, etc.
  • Head, shoulders, knees, and toes-could sing this song during the story time....kids love it and they especially enjoy when you go fast, faster, fastest....The sillier the better!  God made us to laugh.
  • Play doh people- There should be play doh in your closets you can use to make people.
  • Body puzzle-You could cut out the pieces and put in a baggy and children can then assemble their own puzzle and glue on construction paper.  Or, you could let them color it and then they could cut it apart and put pieces in a baggie. This has been a popular craft in the past.
