This week: Lesson 2 of 4:Saying Thank you to Jesus, the Ten Lepers.
January Scripture: "Continue praying, keeping alert, and always thanking God." Colossians 4:2 Remember to review the scripture with the children each week (motions are in the curriculum under make it true section.)
Bible Story: This week's Bible story will be easy to tell. With your Bible open tell the story listed in the "Make it True: Bible Story" section of the curriculum.
Activities: Thoughts on some of the activities in the curriculum. Most of theses activities incorporate saying "Thank you" to God. This would be a good practice for kids.

- Baby Doll Band Aids-Great activity that would be a visual for kids. Could bring a few baby dolls so groups would be smaller. There are some around the church if you don't have any at home.
- Thankful Snow-a craft activity. We have light blue construction paper. Could also make this a group activity if you wanted everyone to put snowflakes on butcher block paper and create a snow scene. Maybe add a snowman?
- Ten- An active game!
- I am thankful- This activity looks good, but could depend on who is/is not interested in drawing.
Prayer time: Gather in prayer sometime throughout the morning! Ask the kids what you can pray about and lift up their prayer requests to God. This whole lesson is on talking to God.
