Announcements for this Sunday:
1. This week starts our music time with Ms. Judy. Please bring chidlren to room 107 at 10:15. Judy will lead music and singing for 10-15 minutes with children. You can plan on completing your lesson/curriculum for the back 1/2 hour of class.
2. I hope to have the monthly take home sheets ready for families this week. Watch for them outside of your door on the black table. This first week you might even hand parents a sheet when they drop children off. Pick up is often a busy time!

September Monthly Theme: God loves me.
Bible Story Focus this week: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and the fiery furnace.
Scripture: Nothing can separate us from the love of God. Romans 8:39.
Remember to review the scripture with children.
1. The story this week is interactive and the kids can participate. See Bible Story section of the curriculum: If you plan ahead for them to make the Balls of Fire craft they can use it when telling the story. You might consider printing out a picture of a king. Also, a bell could be substituted for a horn.
2. Activities: Lots of great options this week! I had a few notes about these activities:
a. Balls of Fire activity: We have scissors in the closet and I can get orange and
red paper for you.
b. Hoops of fire: I can get hula hoops for you as well. We have a supply in our storage
room.
c. Jump for Love: An easy activity without much prep. We have blue painters tape you
can use.
